RDIAS is organizing webinar on the topic of Lets Talk Future “Careers of Tomorrow”. This will help in learning new things which is an endless process. This webinar is arranged, keeping the doubts raised by students as to what should be done in this time.

Objectives

To make students aware about the future corporate requirements- what roles, positions, skills will be in demand such that students can start preparing themselves and align their expertise accordingly. Such a session would be helpful to make everyone understand the future of jobs, as with all the technological advancement in the past decade, to foresee how the business world will shape in the coming years is quite difficult.

Student, faculty members, research scholars, corporate all are eligible to participate

Pedagogy

A mix of pedagogical tools will be used i.e. lectures through Google meet/Zoom, discussions, presentations and experience sharing. Lecture will be delivered through Zoom. Link of the session will be shared with all the participants and an invitation will be sent before the start of the session. You need to mention correct email id in registration form such that you can attend the session smoothly. Participants will be provided with ample time to raise queries towards the end of session.

Mr. Viveck Vaswani

Mr. Viveck Vaswani – Speaker Actor & Dean- School of Contemporary Media Mr. Viveck Vaswani, Actor, Producer, Teacher, Writer, and the man who famously gave Shahrukh Khan his big break in Bollywood. An alumnus of Campion School and Cathedral and John Connon, Viveck started off with acting in India’s first TV soap opera ‘Khandaan’. He then produced a Marathi film called ‘Kis Bai Kiss’, and a major television serial called ‘NaiDishayen. He has acted in more than a 100 films and numerous television shows. He has produced 13 films and 2 television shows. Viveck Vaswani has been Advisor/ Consultant/ Strategist to a number of established companies as well as startups in the entertainment business. He teaches Live Action Production, and Documentary & Films at Pearl Academy, Mumbai campus. Additionally, he also serves on the advisory board of School of Media at Pearl Academy.

Ms. Meha Jayaswal

Ms. Meha Jayaswal – Speaker HOD- School of Media Meha Jayaswal has over 24 years of experience in the fashion & media industry. Starting her career with India’s leading stock market magazine of the 90s – Dalal Street Investment Journal, she moved onto International Wool Secretariat (owners of the Woolmark) as a Trade Communications Executive – India and Southeast Asia and then to Confederation of Indian Industry, HQ New Delhi, before joining Pearl Academy in 2001. A NET qualified mass communication graduate and trained in Advanced Fashion Journalism from London College of Fashion, UK, she has cumulated rich experience of curriculum research, planning and pedagogy. Her professional highlights include managing media and trade communications for International Wool Secretariat, Confederation of Indian Industry and forging close linkages with India’s leading media houses for Pearl Academy. She has completed her Post-Graduate Certification in Higher Education from Nottingham Trent University, UK as a third topper. Now, she shares her knowledge and experience with students and faculty members of Fashion Media, Journalism & Entertainment, Photography courses as the Head of the Department. She teaches various modules on Media Management, Advertising & Promotions, Fashion PR and mentors research projects of final year undergraduate & postgraduate students across Delhi & Mumbai. Recently, she has also been appointed as a Mentor for faculty members undergoing training in Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practices.
