Intellectual Property Rights has been high on the agenda of the policymakers worldwide and there has been a widespread and on-going debate on its implications. Keeping this in mind, India also comes up with National IPR policy in the year 2016 with a mission to foster creativity and innovation in all sectors including academics.This webinar is planned to create awareness on the significance of IPR for the academics.

Dr. Saurabh Verma, Assistant Professor, NIT, Silchar Dr. Saurabh Verma is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies (DOMS) at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, Assam. He did his PhD in Intellectual Property Rights and Consumer Psychology from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. His areas of interests are Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), Consumer Psychology, Organizational and workplace Psychology. He has published a number of Research Papers/Articles in the journals of National and International repute. Presently, he is acting as a Principal Investigator of a Research Project on IPR and entrepreneurship funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST). He has delivered a number of expert talks on Intellectual Property Rights and related area of interests in different reputed organizations.
Dr. Sunil Kumar Yadav, Assistant Professor, RDIAS, Delhi Dr. Sunil Kumar Yadav has completed his Ph.D from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra in the domain of Intellectual Property Rights. He has worked at different managerial position with leading pharmaceutical companies like Panacea Biotec Ltd., Ind-Swift Ltd. & Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Presently he is working as an Assistant professor at Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies, Delhi. He has delivered a number of expert talks on Intellectual Property Rights and related area of interests. He has published a number of Research Papers/Articles in the journals of National and International repute. He has undertaken several projects and presently, he is acting as a Co-Investigator of a Research Project on IPR and entrepreneurship funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST).
