General Rules

  • Please do not carry sharp objects, inflammable objects, or any other objects that might be potentially dangerous.
  • Please do not carry or consume any intoxicants, liquor, any narcotics, drugs, cigarettes, or additives of any sort. Smoking is strictly prohibited in campus.
  • If a participant is found violating any of these rules, it would lead to the disqualification of the participant, who would also be required to leave the premises immediately.
  • Any sort of profanity or obscenity in any form will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Any misbehaviour on the part of the participants and visitors will lead to expulsion from the premises and will reflect on their college.
  • Anything that can be perceived as being offensive to any national and/or religious sentiments, gender, caste, race, etc. will lead to immediate disqualification.

Display your individual brilliance; be the star of the stage—it’s all yours. The stage gives you the chance to flaunt your best moves and elegance. This is your chance to free yourself and express yourself the best.

Eligibility criteria:

All undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline shall be allowed to participate in the event.

Rules and Regulations:

  • Participants are required to get themselves registered online, and there is no registration fee for participation in the event.
  • Time limit – 4-6 minutes. Negative points for exceeding the time limit
  • Participants should bring their own songs on pen drives, as well as their own costume material and props (if any).
  • To avoid technical disruption, participants must bring two alternates of each song. Out of which they are required to submit their song to the coordinator before February 12, 2024.
  • Decency should be maintained in terms of song selection, gestures, dress and no vulgarity or nudity should be reflected in the performances.
  • The top 3 winners will be announced as First, Second and Third.
  • Strict discipline should be maintained, and the decision of the judges will be final.
  • A green room will be provided if needed.
  • The organizers have the right to remove and/or modify any event at any stage if required.
  • Judgement Criteria: Choreography , Facial Expressions, Body Language, Costume and presentation 

Prelims:

  • In the event of a large number of registrations, preliminary rounds for external and internal participants should be organized to select the best performances.
  • All internal and external participants shall email their video of 4-5 minutes to the respective coordinator’s email address.
  • The concerned faculty shall then select the best performances.
  • The final date for the preliminary round will be communicated to participants by the faculty in-charge

Solo Singing (Taal Se Taal Mila)

Solo Singing Competition, an exciting opportunity for you all to show off your soulful voice and incredible singing skills. So come on, let’s start singing.

Eligibility criteria:

All undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline shall be allowed to participate in the event.

Rules and Regulations:

  • Participants are required to get themselves registered on the website, and there is no registration fee for participation in any event.
  • Team Size: 1 member and 1 pianist only (if any).
  • Certificates will be provided to the accompanists (if any).
  • The duration is a maximum of 6 + 2 minutes per song. Negative points for exceeding the time limit
  • Students may select a song from either the Hindi, English, or Punjabi languages.
  • Musical instruments (if required) will not be provided by the college; participants are required to arrange them themselves.
  • Decency should be maintained as far as the choice of song, gestures, dresses, etc. No vulgarity or nudity should be reflected in the performances.
  • There will be three winners: first, second, and third.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered as final and abiding.
  • The organisers have the right to remove and/or modify any event at any stage if required.
  • Participants are asked to arrive one hour before the event begins.
  • Judgement Criteria: Diction, Voice Quality, Stage Presence and Intonation

Prelims:

Rap Battle (Breathless)

Do you think you have what it takes to get the crowd shouting “Bohot Hard” after your performance? If yes, then this is the perfect opportunity for all you aspiring rappers out there.

Eligibility criteria:

All undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline shall be allowed to participate in the event.

Rules and Regulations:

  • Participants are required to get themselves registered on the website, and there is no registration fee for participation in any event.
  • Each participant may have one accompanist.
  • Certificates will be provided to the rapper and the accompanist beatboxer (if any).
  • The duration of the performance is a maximum of 6 + 2 minutes per song. Negative points for exceeding the time limit
  • Participants are required to arrange their background music. Before February 12, 2024, the music should be brought on a CD or pen drive.
  • Decency should be maintained as far as the choice of song, gestures, etc. Use of abusive or disrespectful words will lead to disqualification.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered final and abiding.
  • The organisers have the right to remove and/or modify any event at any stage if required.
  • There will be three winners: first, second, and third.
  • Judgement Criteria: Originality, Audience interaction, Quality of performance and Presentation.

Prelims:

  • Rappers must email the song they want to perform, along with the lyrics, to the faculty member in charge’s email address.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to the selected participants.
  • The audio and video should be no longer than three minutes.

Duet Dance (Nach Baliye)

Duet Dance (Nach Baliye)

Two is the best company. Choose the most compatible partner and deliver a powerhouse performance with the best chemistry.

Eligibility criteria:

All undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline shall be allowed to participate in the event.

Rules and Regulations:

  • The time limit is 6–8 minutes. Negative points for exceeding the time limit
  • To avoid technical disruption, participants are asked to bring their tracks on a pen drive. In addition; they are required to submit one CD to the event coordinator.
  • No particular theme has to be followed. The participants are free to mould the dance form.
  • Prepare your own props, which must be communicated to the coordinators prior to the competition.
  • Lighting of matchsticks, candles, and cigarettes, or any derogatory acts, are strictly not allowed on stage.
  • Submission of the track in advance before February 12, 2024
  • The decisions of the judges will be final and abiding.
  • Participants are asked to arrive 1.5 hours before the event begins.
  • Judgement Criteria: Choreography , Facial Expressions, Body Language, Costumes and Coordination

Best Out of Waste (Nayi Soch)

Event 5: Best Out of Waste (Nayi Soch)

 This event is to bring such ideas to students and to help them think about ways of reusing everyday materials that will not only reduce waste but also provide them with useful household products. The idea will not only be of economic and material value for students but will also be helpful in creating environmental consciousness among them, which is the need of the hour.

Eligibility criteria:

All undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline shall be allowed to participate in the event.

Rules and Regulations

  • Participation will be on individual basis.
  • Participants will be given 1 hour and 30 minutes to show their creativity and 2 minutes to talk about it.
  • The required waste material and stationery, like scissors, thread, etc., should be brought by the participants.
  • Waste material could be anything like tetra packs, bottles, newspapers, old utensils, jute material, or any second-hand items that otherwise would be thrown away.
  • The material would be rejected if it was not found to be a waste product or a second-hand item.
  • No ready or semi-finished model or matter would be accepted from a participant in the competition.
  • No mobile or Internet access would be permitted during the competition.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered final and abiding.
  • Judgement Criteria: Creativity, Utilisation of resources, Design, Eco-friendly Product, Utility of the product and Overall presentation.

Flash Frenzy 1.0 (Photography Competition)

Frame Frenzy 1.0 invites you to unleash your creativity through the lens in an exhilarating On the Spot Photography Competition. Students will be given a unique theme on the spot, challenging you to frame the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Eligibility criteria:

All undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline shall be allowed to participate in the event.

Rules and Regulations

  • Participants are required to get themselves registered on the online website as per the schedule given in the notice, and there is no registration fee for participation in any event.
  • It is an individual-based competition.
  • Pictures can be taken from both a mobile device and a digital camera.
  • Participants will be given the theme on the spot for which they have to submit a maximum of 3 photographs on the theme.
  • The Photograph must be original work of the student and there should be no watermark on the photograph.
  • They must then submit the Photographs to the respective faculty coordinator along with their name, Enrollment number, batch, and college phone number, as well as the details of the camera used by the participant (model name or number).
  • Winners will be shortlisted from the submitted Photographs.
  • The photographs shall be clicked inside the vicinity, i.e., RDPS, Pitampura.
  • Participants should bring their own camera, laptop, and other equipment. None of the above equipment will be provided by the college.
  • There will be three winners: First, second, and third.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered as final and abiding.
  • Nothing objectionable, vulgar, or nude should be a part of the pictures, which may lead to disqualifying the participant.
  • Judgement Criteria: Creativity, Originality, Content and Clarity of Photographs.

Digital enhancements

  • Do not digitally enhance or alter video beyond the basics needed to achieve realistic colour balance, contrast, and sharpness. Removal of sensor dust and other artefacts is acceptable, but if you have digitally added or removed anything else, do not submit the photograph.
  • Adjustments to colour saturation and contrast are allowed. Remember that excessive saturation and contrast adjustments will make photographs look unnatural.

Group Dance (Dance Deewane)

Group Dance (Dance Deewane)

Dancing is one of the best ways to express your feelings and is the truest form of expression. Let’s join hands to bring passions, feelings, and style together. Share the energy of your groups on stage through theme-based or non-theme-based choreography.

Eligibility criteria:

All undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline shall be allowed to participate in the event.

Rules and Regulations:

  • Participants and teams are required to get themselves registered online on the website, and there is no registration fee for participation in any event.
  • Team Size: minimum 5 and maximum 15 members
  • Time limit of 6–10 minutes. Negative points for exceeding the time limit
  • Submission of the CD or track in advance before February 12, 2024.
  • The institute will not bear any costs like transportation, costumes, anchoring, etc.
  • At the last moment, no member of any group can be changed or replaced.
  • Any member of a group cannot perform for any other group.
  • It is mandatory to stay within the limit of 5–15 participants. Teams exceeding or falling below the number of limits mentioned will be disqualified.
  • No vulgarity should be reflected in the performances.
  • Any team and/or participant found creating a nuisance would be disqualified immediately.
  • The judges’ decision will be considered as final and abiding.
  • The organisers have the right to remove and/or modify any event at any stage if required.
  • Participants are asked to arrive 1.5 hours before the event begins.
  • Judgement Criteria: Choreography , Facial Expressions, Body Language, Costumes and Coordination

Prelims:

You remember all songs by heart. The favourite game of all is back with a touch of elegance. Come & experience a blind date with filmy music and trickle your brains with Bollywood trivia.

Eligibility criteria:

All undergraduate and post graduate students from any discipline shall be allowed to participate in the event.

Rules and Regulations

  • Participants/Teams are required to get themselves registered online website and there is no registration fee for participation in any event.
  • Team Size: 2
  • Total time of the contest will be 1 hour.
  • There will be three rounds of different modes.
  • 3 teams will be announced as: First, Second and Third.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered as final and abiding.
  • In case of a tie there shall be a fourth round.
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Participants are advised to reach 1 hour before the starting of the event

Round – 1 “Shabd jaal” (20 Minutes)

  • One word would be given to each team and that team would have to sing the first five lines of songs, having the given word. The song must start with the given word.
  • For example if the word is “deewana”, the team can sing the following songs dewwana le ker aaya hai…………………………….
  • The team would have to sing as many such songs as possible in one minute’s time.
  • If the first two lines are not sung completely, then no marks would be given.
  • Different words would be given to each team.
  • There would be two rounds for each team.

Marking

  • One mark for each right song.
  • No minus marking in this round.

Round 2 “Mein hoon Kaun” (20 Minutes)

  • One participant would have to come to the dais and pick one chit from a bowl containing chits bearing names of different Hindi films.
  • Then the participant will have to act out the name of the movie, without saying a word or lip‐syncing or writing anything in the air. The other member of the team will have to guess the correct name of the movie with the help of the act in one minute’s time.
  • After finding out the correct answer the team will have to sing a song of that movie.
  • There would be two such rounds.
  • Each team has to go through this one by one.

Marking – 

  • Ten marks for the guessing the movie’s name, right.
  • Five marks for singing the right song.
  • No minus marking in this round.

Round 3 “Jodi Round” (20 Minutes)

  • Each team will be passed a bowl containing some chits.
  • Each chit will carry the name of some Jodi.
  • One team member will be asked to tell the Jodi.
  • The team has to sing a duet song of that pair within 15 seconds.
  • There would be two such rounds for each team.

Marking – 

  • Ten marks for singing the right song.

 Round 4 “Tie Breaker Round” (10 Minutes- If Required)

  • If there is a tie among the teams, a fourth round will have to be played.
  • An audio clip of a song will be played for about ten seconds.
  • This would be a buzzer round.
  • Participants will have to identify the song and sing the mukhda of the song within 05 seconds after hitting the buzzer.

Marking – 

  • Ten marks for the right answer and Minus five for wrong answer.
  • Minus five for not singing the song in the specified time, after hitting the buzzer.
  • Minus five for singing the incomplete or wrong words of mukhda.

Eligibility criteria:

All undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline shall be allowed to participate in the event.

Rules and Regulations

  • Participants and teams are required to get themselves registered online on the website, and there is no registration fee for participation in the event.
  • Team Size: 6–15 members.
  • If the team size exceeds 15 members, that team will be disqualified.
  • A storage room for props will be arranged as needed.
  • Nothing objectionable, vulgar, or nude should be a part of the performance, which may lead to disqualifying the team.
  • At the last moment, no member of any group can be changed or replaced.
  • Any member of a group cannot perform for any other group.
  • Participants should carry their own dresses, materials, etc.
  • Only CDs or pen drives should be submitted for the music.
  • The teams should submit two copies of their music CDs before February12, 2024.
  • The performance should last about 10-15 minutes. Excessive time will result in negative marking.
  • First and second position will be awarded.
  • Participants also have a chance to win in three categories, i.e., best dressed (male and female); best walk (male and female); and best model (male and female).
  • The decisions of the judges will be considered as final and abiding.
  • The organisers have the right to remove and/or modify any event at any stage if required.
  • All the registered teams need to submit the write-up for the concept which should justify for the theme chosen for the event before February12, 2024.
  • Theme : Lauding Womanhood through Cultural Fusion Fiesta
  • Judgement Criteria: Creativity, Originality, Justification to theme, Costumes and Presentation

Round 1: Introduction and Ramp Walk (25 minutes)

  • Each participant will have one minute to introduce themselves.(Negative points for exceeding the time limit.)
  • Total number of participants: 20 (10 girls and 10 boys).
  • Elimination – 04

Round 2: The Talent Round (50 minutes)

  • In this, each participant will have 3–4 minutes to show their talent. (Negative points for exceeding the time limit.)
  • Total number of participants: 16 (8 girls and 8 boys).
  • Elimination: 04
  • 4 minutes (Buzzer) time limit

Round 3: Question-Answer Round (15 minutes)

  • Each participant will have one minute to respond to the questions posed by the judges. (Negative points for exceeding the time limit.)
  • Total number of participants: 12 (6 girls and 6 boys).

Prelims:

  • If there are a large number of registrations, preliminary round for external and internal participants will be held to select the best performances.
  • External participants must send a video of 2-3 minutes demonstrating their talent (dancing, singing, acting, etc.) to the faculty in charge’s email address.
  • The concerned faculty shall then select the best performances based on the set criteria.
  • The final date for the preliminary round will be communicated to participants by the faculty in-charge.

  • Theme: Viksit Bharat @2047 following different facets such as  economic prosperity, social advancement, environmental sustainability, and effective governance
  • Judgement Criteria: Creativity, Justification to theme, Originality, Quality of Artwork Presentation

All undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline shall be allowed to participate in the event.

Rules and Regulations

  • Team shall consist of two members.
  • The time limit is 120 minutes.
  • No mobile or Internet access would be permitted during the competition.
  • Chart papers, magazines, glue, scissors, sketch pens, colors and other materials must be brought by participants.
  • A team may be disqualified for exceeding the time limit, deviating from the theme, or providing an inadequate explanation to the jury.
  • The decision of the judge will be considered as final and abiding.
  • Size of the collage: Full-Size Pastel Sheet (Any Color)
  • Participants are advised to arrive 1 hour before the start of the event.
