Vortex (LAN Gaming)

Rules

  • There will be single entry for PUBG/ Counter Strike 1.6/ FIFA
  • Entry fees is Rs. 100 per participant.
  • No foul language is allowed while playing.
  • Participants shall obey the event coordinator all times. His decision is final.
  • Use of any unfair means whatsoever shall result in disqualification.
  • The participants should not mishandle the PCs and consoles. Any damage caused to them will be borne by them.
  • Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

Yaadein (Photography)

Date: 14th March 2002 Time: 10.30 A.M -4.30 P.M Exhibition: 15th March 2022

Rules

  • Participants are required to get themselves registered on Online Website as per schedule given in notice and there is no registration fee for participation in any event.
  • It is an individual based competition.
  • Photographs can be clicked from both Mobile and Digital Camera.
  • The themes for the photographs are: Candid Photography, Festive Mood and Black & White.
  • Participants are required to select one theme.
  • Participants shall click the photos between 10:30 am – 4.30 pm on the 1stday of event
  • and submit it to the respective faculty coordinators, sharp at 4:30 pm in the allotted room (GFH, RDIAS), in the form of pen drive, with Name, Enrolment No, Batch and College, phone number, along with the details of the cameraused by the participant (Model Name or Number).
  • Also, participants need to bring printed version of their at least three best clicks on 2ndday of the event 15th March 2022.
  • They need to submit the same (3 best clicks) to the respective faculty coordinators, sharp at 10:00am with Name, Enrolment No, Batch and College, phone number, along with the details of the cameraused by the participant (Model Name or Number).
  • Winners will be shortlisted from the submitted photographs only.
  • The photographs shall be clicked inside the vicinity i.e. RDIAS, Pitampura.
  • Images that have won prizes in prior competitions or have been used for commercial purposes and/or been published will not be eligible.
  • The participant should not digitally enhance or alter the photographs beyond the basic need to achieve realistic colour balance, contrast and sharpness.
  • Decency should be maintained as far as the choice of photos, quality etc. is concerned.
  • Participants should bring their own Camera, Laptop and other Equipment. None of the above equipment will be provided by the college.
  • Students can bring printed copies of their Photographs on the 2ndday of the event for the exhibition.
  • For the above-mentioned exhibition, the participants must print their respected photographs in A4 size – colour.
  • 3 winners will be announced as: First, Second and Third.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered final and abiding.
  • Nothing objectionable, vulgarity or nudity should be a part of the performance which may lead to disqualifying the team.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

Digital enhancements

  • Do not digitally enhance or alter photographs beyond the basics needed to achieve realistic colour balance, contrast and sharpness. Removal of sensor dust and other artifacts is acceptable but if you have digitally added anything or removed anything else do not submit the photograph. Our judges scrutinize every photograph and if they feel it is deceptive, they will disqualify it.
  • Dodging and burning is acceptable if it is done with subtlety and does not detract from reality.
  • Adjustments to colour saturation and contrast are allowed. Remember excessive saturation and contrast adjustments will make photographs look unnatural.

Taal Se Taal Mila (Solo Singing)

Date: 14th March 2002 Time: 10.30 A.M -11.30 A.M

Rules

  • Participants are required to get themselves registered on website and there is no registration fee for participation in any event.
  • Team Size: 1 member and 1 accompanist only (if any).
  • Certificates will be provided to the accompanists (if any).
  • The Duration is maximum 5 minutes per song. Negative points for exceeding the time limit.
  • Students may select song from either Hindi, English or Punjabi language.
  • Musical instrument (if required) will not be provided from the college; participants are required to arrange themselves.
  • Decency should be maintained as far as the choice of song, gestures, dresses etc. no vulgarity or nudity should be reflected in the performances.
  • 3 winners will be announced as: First, Second and Third.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered final and abiding.
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

Prelims:

  • In case of large number of registrations, prelims shall be organized for external and internal participants, to shortlist the best performances for further rounds.
  • Both Internal external teams, shall mail their song video of 3-4 minutes on the faculty in charge Email ID
  • The concerned faculty shall then select the best performances based on Lyrics Clarity, Voice Quality, Coordination, and Use of Instruments &
  • The final date of prelims shall be communicated to the participants by the concerned faculty in charge.

Dance Diwane (Group Dance):

Date: 14th March 2022 Time: 11.30 A.M-01.00 PM

Rules and Regulations:

  • Participants/Teams are required to get themselves registered on Online website and there is no registration fee for participation in any event.
  • Team Size: minimum 5 and maximum 8 members.
  • Time limit 6-8 minutes. Negative points for exceeding the time limit.
  • Submission of the CD/ Track in advance before 08 March 2022.
  • Institute will not bear any cost like transportation, costumes, anchoring, etc.
  • At the last moment, no member of any group can be changed or replaced.
  • Any member of a group cannot perform for any other group.
  • It is mandatory to stay in the limit of 5-8 participants. Teams exceeding or below the number of limits mentioned, will be disqualified.
  • No vulgarity should be reflected by the performances.
  • Any team and/or participant found creating nuisance would be disqualified immediately.
  • 3 winners will be announced as: First, Second and Third.
  • Judges’ decision will be final and would be a binding on each participant.
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

  • Both Internal and external teams shall mail their dance video of 3-4 minutes on the faculty In charge Email ID
  • The concerned faculty shall then select the best performances based on Theme, Expression, Choreography, Props/Costume and Coordination.
  • The final date of prelims shall be communicated to the participants by the concerned faculty in charge.

Sargam (Antakshari)

Date: 14th March Time: 01.00 P.M-02.00 P.M

Rules and Regulations

  • Participants/Teams are required to get themselves registered Online website and there is no registration fee for participation in any event.
  • Team Size: 2-3 Members
  • Total time of the contest will be 1 hour.
  • There will be four rounds of different modes.
  • 3 teams will be announced as: First, Second and Third.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered final and abiding.
  • In case of a tie there shall be a fifth round.
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

 Round – 1 “Shabd jaal” 

  • One word would be given to each team and that team would have to sing the first two lines of songs, having the given word. The song must start with the given word.
  • For example if the word is “deewana”, the team can sing the following songs‐
    • dewwana le ker aaya hai…………………………….
    • deewana mujhsa nahi………………………………
  • The team would have to sing as many such songs as possible in one minute’s time.
  • If the first two lines are not sung completely, then no marks would be given.
  • Different words would be given to each team.
  • There would be two rounds for each team.

 

Round ‐2 “Mein hoon Kaun”

  • One participant would have to come to the dais and pick one chit from a bowl containing chits bearing names of different Hindi films.
  • Then the participant will have to act out the name of the movie, without saying a word or lip‐syncing or writing anything in the air. The other member of the team will have to guess the correct name of the movie with the help of the act in one minute’s time.
  • After finding out the correct answer the team will have to sing a song of that movie.
  • There would be two such rounds.

Round ‐3 “Jodi Round” 

  • Each team will be passed a bowl containing some chits.
  • Each chit will carry the name of some Jodi.
  • One team member will be asked to tell the Jodi.
  • The team has to sing a duet song of that pair within 15 seconds.
  • There would be two such rounds for each team.

Round ‐4 “Meri Aawaz Suno”

  • This will be an audio round, based on Hindi film songs.
  • The signature tune of a song will be played on the audio player for about ten seconds.
  • This will be a buzzer round.
  • The participants will have to recognize the song correctly and sing the mukhda of the song within 05 seconds after hitting the buzzer.
  • The team which hits the buzzer first will get to sing the song.
  • There would be 5 such clues.

Cinematography (Drishyam)

Date: 14th March Time: 02.00 P.M-03.00 P.M

Rules of the Competition:

  • The deadline for submission is 8th March 2022
  • The length of the film should be 3-5 minutes (credits included)
  • Usage of unauthorized music is not allowed. (The film must contain credits for all music used)
  • Usage of stock footage is not allowed.
  • Films not in Hindi/English must have subtitles.
  • Films will be judged based on their storyline, theme, cinematography, music, editing and direction.
  • Only the selected films will be screened at RAZZMATAZZ 2022
  • The film must be made after 23rd February 2022.
  • Multiple entries will be subject to disqualification, send us your best work.
  • No vulgar or unparliamentarily words will be used by the participating teams during their performance.
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

Fashion Show (Panache)

Date: 14th March Time: 03.00 P.M-04.30 P.M

Rules and Regulations

  • Participants/Teams are required to get themselves registered Online on website and there is no registration fee for participation in the event.
  • Each group should adhere to one of the following themes – Culture, Nature, 75 years of Independence.
  • Team Size: 5-8 members.
  • If team size exceeds 8 members that team will be disqualified.
  • NO Green room facility will be provided.
  • Storage room of props will be arranged as needed
  • Nothing objectionable, vulgarity or nudity should be a part of the performance which may lead to disqualifying the team.
  • At the last moment, no member of any group can be changed or replaced.
  • Any member of a group cannot perform for any other group.
  • Participants should carry their own dresses, materials, etc.
  • Only CDs / pen drives should be submitted for the music.
  • The teams should submit two copies of their music CDs before 08 March, 2022.
  • Performance should be of 8-10 mins. Exceeding the time limit will lead to negative marking.
  • 3 winners will be announced as: First, Second and Third.
  • Participants also have a chance to win in three categories ie. Best Dressed (Male and Female); Best Walk (Male and Female) and Best Model (Male and Female)
  • Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

Zara Nach ke Dikha (Solo dance competition):

Date: 15th March Time: 10.00 A.M-11.00 A.M

Rules and Regulations:

  • Participants are required to get themselves registered Online website and there is no registration fee for participation in the event.
  • Time limit 4-5 minutes. Negative points for exceeding the time limit.
  • Participants should carry their own song in pen drives, Dress Material and props (if any).
  • The participants are required to bring two alternates of song to avoid technical disturbance. Out of which they are required to submit their song to the coordinator before 8th March 2022.
  • Any obscene/offensive music/song is not allowed.
  • No participant can participate twice.
  • Decency should be maintained as far as the choice of song, gestures, dress etc., no vulgarity or nudity should be reflected in the performances.
  • Top 3 winners will be announced as: First, Second and Third.
  • Strict discipline should be maintained & decision of judges will be final
  • Green room will be provided if needed
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

Prelims:

  • In case of large number of registrations, prelims should be organized for external and internal participants, to select the best performances.
  • All Internal/ External participant shall mail their video of 4-5 minutes on the respective coordinators email id
  • The concerned faculty shall then select the best performances on the basis of Presentation, Entertainment, Creativity, Overall Impact and moves.
  • The final date of prelims shall be communicated to the participants by the concerned faculty in-charge.

Breathless
(Rap Battle)

Date: 15th March Time: 11.00 A.M-12.00 P.M

Rules and Regulations:

  • Participants are required to get themselves registered Online Website and there is no registration fee for participation in any event.
  • 1 accompanist beat boxer is allowed.
  • Certificates will be provided to the rapper and the accompanist beat boxer (if any).
  • The Duration of performance is maximum 5 minutes per song. Negative points for exceeding the time limit.
  • Participants are required to arrange their background music. The music should be brought in the CD or Pen drive before 8th March 2022.
  • Decency should be maintained as far as the choice of song, gestures etc. Use of abusive or disrespectful words will lead to disqualification.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered final and abiding.
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

Rounds :

Round 1 – All the rappers will give a solo performance of 2-3 mins.

Round 2 – Out of all the rappers in the 1st round, 4 rappers will get selected to give a solo performance in round 2.

Note:

  • 2 winners will be announced as: First & Second.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered final and abiding.

Prelims:

  • The rappers have to mail the song on they want to perform with the lyrics at Email of Faculty in Charge, before 8th March 2022.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to the selected rappers.
  • The audio/video should be of 3 mins max.

Parichay
(Skit):

Date: 15th March Time: 11.00 A.M-12.30 P.M
  • Duration of the play should not exceed 15 minutes.
  • 5 minutes will be given for stage setting and clearance. Therefore each team has to vacate the stage according to the time allotted.
  • The team should comprise of both boys and girls.
  • The number of participants should not exceed 8.
  • Maximum two student accompanist on music will be allowed in each team. They cannot enter the stage.
  • The stage set has to be carried by each team as per their requirements.
  • No vulgar or unparliamentarily words will be used by the participating teams during their performance.
  • The language of the play may be Hindi or English.
  • Three copies of the script have to be submitted to the organizer in advance.
  • Dress and make up based on the theme of the play is compulsory.
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

Nayi Soch (Best Out Of Waste Competition)

Date: 15h March Time: 12.00 P.M-02.00 P.M

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

  • Team shall consist of two members only.
  • Participants will be given 1 hour and 50 min. to show their creativity and 2 minutes to talk about the same.
  • The required waste material and stationery like scissor, thread, etc. should be brought by the participants.
  • Waste material could be anything like tetra packs, bottles, newspapers, old utensils, jute material or any second-hand items that otherwise would be thrown away.
  • The material would be rejected if not found to be a waste product or second-hand item.
  • No ready or semi-finished model or matter would be accepted from participant in competition.
  • Participants will be judged on Creativity, Utilization of Resources, Artistic composition & design, Eco-friendly rating, Utility of the Product and Overall Presentation
  • No mobile or Internet means would be allowed to use at the time of Competition.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered final and abiding
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

Rangshaala (Rangoli)

Date: 15th March Time: 12.00 P.M-02.00 P.M
  • Rangoli art should be of 3 ft x 3 ft.
  • Theme of the art will be “Nature”
  • There will be only one round of competition.
  • Maximum time to complete the Rangoli is two hours.
  • Teams will be responsible for arrangement of the material required to prepare Rangoli. Only Rangoli colors or flowers can be used for making Rangoli.
  • The participants will not be allowed to refer to any printed material/ digital mode of picture etc. for preparing Rangoli.
  • A group may have not more than four participants.
  • Multiple entries by one person are not allowed.
  • Any act of indiscipline by participants calls for cancellation of registration.
  • No vulgar or unparliamentary drawing/ symbols will be entertainment.
  • Judging will be based on the following Criteria- Overall Appearance and appeal, Details and Clarity in Rangoli art, Color combination & Creativity.
  • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

Mimicry ke superstars

Date: 15th March Time: 12.30 P.M-02.00 P.M
    • Judgment is based on qualities like idea, creativity of presentation, use of makeup & general impression.
    • Marking will be based on Skill of imitating, Presentation Variety, dress-up and voices
    • This is a solo event.
    • Each participant shall be given 5 minutes.
    • No vulgar or unparliamentary language will be entertainment.
    • The decision of the judge will be final
    • The organizers have right to remove, and or modify any event at any stage, if required.
    • Covid Vaccination Certificate is mandatory for all participants

    Prelims:

Mr. & Ms. Razzmatazz

Date: 15th March Time: 2.30 P.M-04.00 P.M

Round 1: Introduction & Ramp Walk (25 minutes)

In this, each participant will have 1 minute to introduce himself/herself. (Negative points for exceeding the time limit)

Round 2: Talent Round (40 minutes)

  • In this, each participant will have 4 minutes to show their talent. (Negative points for exceeding the time limit.)

Round 3: Question-Answer Round (10 minutes)

  • In this, each participant will have 1 minute to answer the questions asked by judges. (Negative points for exceeding the time limit.)

Prelims:

  • In case of large number of registrations, prelims shall be conducted for external and internal participants, to select the best performances.
  • External participant shall mail the video showing their talent (dance, singing, acting etc.) of 2-3 minutes on email ID of faculty Incharge”.
  • The concerned faculty shall than select the best performances based on the set criteria.
  • The final date of prelims shall be communicated to the participants by the concerned faculty in charge.
