Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies is organizing a one-week Faculty Development Programme on “Qualitative Research Analysis” from June 21-25, 2021. The objectives of this FDP will be improving qualitative skills of teaching faculty and research scholars in the disciplines of Management and allied areas.

Who can participate?

Academicians, Professionals, Research Scholars and Students from any discipline can participate in the FDP.

Pedagogy

A mix of pedagogical tools will be used viz. online lectures through Google Meet, discussions, presentations and practical exercises. Hands-on training will be given on suitable software. Participants will be provided with suitable research example in order to understand the analysis. All lectures will be delivered through Google Meet. The link of Google Meet will be shared with all the participants and an invitation will be sent before the start of the session. You need to mention the correct email id in registration form so that you can attend the session smoothly.

The FDP offers a tremendous learning opportunity to the participants and would help them to improve qualitative skills needed to conduct effective and result-oriented research work.

Certificate of Participation

E-certificate shall be provided to all the participants who will successfully register and fill the feedback form after the completion of FDP.

Resource Persons

Dr. C. S. Sharma

Professor C. S. Sharma is a distinguished educator with broad experience of 40 years in India and overseas in teaching, program development (including enriched digital content), institution building, financial performance and business development. Author of eleven books and Forty-seven research papers, with publications on topics like Fuzzy Financial Ratios, Mergers and Acquisitions, Servant Leadership, Spirituality, Green Purchasing Intentions, Default Probability, Trust etc. He has supervised research at IIT, Delhi, Department of Commerce, Delhi University, Amity University and has acted in a consultative capacity to corporations, renowned institutions of higher learning, and is a sought – after speaker notably in research methodology, human behaviour and finance. Currently, engaged in teaching at SRCC as Professor in Department of Commerce, earlier he was Director at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies and JRE Group of Institutions. He has conducted numerous workshops and training programmes at Institutions like Punjab Police Academy, Ramanujan College-DU, CPDHE-Delhi University, Academic staff College- Guru Jambheshwar University, MDU Rohtak, Manav Rachna University etc. Also, he was Director of the Induction Programmes conducted by Teaching Learning Centre, sponsored by Ministry of HRD at Ramanujan College, University of Delhi. He looks after the National Resource Centre – Commerce Discipline sponsored by MHRD at SRCC.

Dr. Pooja Goel

Dr. Pooja Goel is an academician, researcher, author, and trainer. An alumnus of Kurukshetra University, she holds a Masters (M. Com.) and Doctorate (Ph. D.) in Commerce. She is also a Post Graduate Diploma holder in Business Administration from Symbiosis University, Pune and a gold medalist in Diploma in Reasoning.

Presently, Pooja is an Assistant Professor at Department of Commerce, University of Delhi with more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. She teaches graduate and post-graduate students in marketing management, principles of marketing, business statistics, business mathematics, and research methodology.  She is an author of the book titled “Personal selling and salesmanship” written for under graduation courses.

She has published more than 30 papers in UGC, ABDC, Web of Sciences, and Scopus indexed journals such as Sustainable Production and Consumption, Social Responsibility Journal among others and in edited books with reputed national and international publishers including Springer, Emerald and Bloomsburg. She is an empaneled research supervisor with University of Delhi. Her research interest areas are sustainability, consumer behavior, and technology adoption. She has presented more than 20 papers in national and international conferences in India and abroad. She has also won best paper award in Marketing Track at International Conference organized by Sharda University, Greater Noida.  

Pooja is a regular trainer in statistical tools (SPSS, AMOS SEM, and R) at Panjab University, GNDU, Indraprastha University, Kurukshetra University, Panjabi University, University of Delhi, and other universities.

Dr. Sahil Gupta

Dr. Sahil Gupta is Ph.D. in Digital Marketing Strategies with nearly 7 years of experience in higher education and a year in IT industry. With more than 15 international publications to his credit in various journals listed in ABDC /SCI/SCOPUS categories. Dr. Gupta has expertise in the area of Digital Strategy formulation. Currently, he is serving as Assistant Professor, IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus. In his previous assignment at Doctoral Research Centre, Chitkara Business School he worked as Assistant Professor and was looking at Doctoral program in Management. He has Conducted various workshop on Research Methods and Qualitative Research Analysis

Dr. Heena Thanki

Dr. Heena is a faculty member for the MBA program at the Gujarat Technological University’s Shri Jairambhai Patel Institute of Management and Computer Applications, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. Before joining the academic and research sector, she worked at the ICICI Prudential Limited – India’s leading insurance provider. She holds a Ph.D. in Management, a Diploma in Export-Import Management, and has completed BBA and MBA. Her research papers are published and presented at various national and international level journals and conferences. Some of her research work has also been published in top-ranked reputed journals of globally acclaimed ranking lists, such as the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Scopus, and Web of Science. She has also won many awards for her research works. Her research interest areas include behavioral finance, financial literacy, and interdisciplinary finance.
