FACE PAINTING

Date:-  FEB 28′ 2021.
Time:  11:00 AM-12:00 PM

  1. Name of event: Face Painting
  2. Participation: Individual
  3. Number of Participation Expected: 25

  5. Duration: 11 A.M. – 12 Noon (1 hour)
  6. Theme of Event: Mythological Characters
  7. Plan Layout:
  • Description: Participants will be given a theme (Mythological Characters) on which they have to paint their face and give at least five photographs on the aforementioned theme from different angles.
  • Execution: 
    • It will be an individual based activity.
    • The participants will choose a Mythological Characters according to which they have to paint their face and will submit at least five photographs from different angles.
    • The idea behind the event is how a participant will effectively and efficiently exhibit mythological characters and explain in detail their reasons for choosing the specific mythological character.
    • While in the 1hour time frame of the event, participants will be given 5 minutes(approx.) to exhibit their photographs and explain the reason for choosing the specific mythological character.
  • Photo Requirements:
  • The photographs should include the face area only (above neck).
  • Resolution: Min. 1028×768.High Clarity Photographs should be submitted. Blurred Photos or other low-resolution photos shall not be accepted.
  • Photos can be shot in portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal) mode.
  • Backgrounds do matter – try to get a clean, flat background.
  • Try to ensure that there is enough ambient light – camera flash by itself is often not enough.
  • File format: .jpg, .jpeg or .png. We regret that no other file formats are acceptable.
  • File size: Max. 4MB per photo.
  • File name:Please use the following convention to name the files: firstname-lastname-Character name/mobile number-yourphotonumber.extg. kirti-gupta-(Name of character/mobile number)-1.jpg and submit the same to the given email id.
  • Rules and regulations:
    • Students’ camera shall remain ‘ON’ throughout their presentation.
    • The time frame to present their photographs and the reasons for the same needs to be followed strictly.
    • The dignity and the integrity of the mythological character shall be maintained at all times, failing to do so will lead to negative marking.

  5. Duration: 12 Noon – 1 P.M. (1 hour)
  6. Theme of Event: Bollywood Song or Regional Folk Dance
  7. Plan Layout:
  • Description: Dance is to move rhythmically to music, typically following a set sequence of steps. But for someone it is worship, for someone it is an art, for someone it is an expression of emotions, for someone it is a symbol of happiness, for someone it is an entertainment, for someone it is a life.
  • Execution: 
    • It will be an individual based activity.
    • The idea behind the event is how a participant will effectively and efficiently exhibit their dance performances depicting the theme of the event.
    • The participants will be given a theme (Bollywood Number and Regional Folk Dance) on which they have to present their dance performance which should not exceed 3 minutes.
    • Participants have to strictly adhere to the time frame (3 minutes) and the theme of the event. (Bollywood Number and Regional Folk Dance).
    • Participants have to record a 3 minutes video of their dance talent for the prelims round and submit the same to the email id.
    • Participants will be given 3 minutes to present their dance performance as well for the Round 2.
    • There will be 2 rounds depending on the number of registrations. Round 1: Prelims: where the student will send their video on or before 15th February,2021 and depending on those who qualified for the same will go for the Round 2 (Main Round).
  • Video specifications:
  • Video format: MP4, MPEG4, MOV, AVI.
  • Video should be provided in good quality (minimum resolution720p).
  • There should be a time and date stamp on the video.
  • Videos can be recorded on the stage as well as in the rehearsal space (the dancers should be dressed proper in dance outfit).
  • Each video should contain only one dance performance.
  • The dance performance should be recorded from the beginning to the end (without pause/cut/break).
  • Each participant must be clearly visible during the complete dance performance.
  • Backgrounds can matter – try to get a clean, flat background.
  • Try to ensure that there is enough ambient light – camera flash by itself is often not enough.
  • Video File size: Max. 150MB.
  • File name:Please use the following convention to name the files: firstname-lastname-Mobile number g. Kirti-Gupta-(Mobile number) and submit the same to the email id.
  • Rules and regulations:
    • Students’ camera shall remain ‘ON’ throughout their presentation.
    • Time limit is 3 minutes. Negative points for exceeding the time limit.
    • Choice of song is open to the participants.
    • Any obscene/offensive music/song is not allowed.
    • The decision of Judges will be final and binding.

  7. Plan Layout:
  • Description: Music is the greatest form of communication in the world, which do not require language. Even if people don’t understand the language, they still know good music when they hear it.
  • Execution:
    • It will be an individual based activity.
    • The participants will be given a theme (Bollywood Songs) on which they have to record a video while singing the song.
    • The idea behind the event is how a participant will effectively and efficiently exhibit his/her singing talent.
    • Participants have to record a 3 minutes video of their singing talent for the prelims round and submit the same to the email id.
    • Participants will be given 3 minutes to present their singing performance as well for the Round 2.
    • There will be 2 rounds depending on the number of registrations. Round 1: Prelims: where the student will send their video on or before 15th February,2021 and depending on those who qualified for the same will go for the Round 2 (Main Round).
  • Video requirements:

  6. Theme of Event: Participants can choose their own topic.
  7. Plan Layout:
  • Description: Stand-up comedy is a comedic style in which a comedian performs in front of a live audience, speaking directly to them through a microphone. The performer is commonly known as a comic, stand-up comic, comedian, comedienne, stand-up comedian, or simply a stand-up.
  • Execution:
    • It will be an individual based activity.
    • The participants can choose any topic of their choice.
    • The idea behind the event is how a participant will effectively and efficiently exhibit their comedy talent.
    • Participants have to record a 3 minutes video of their comedy talent for the prelims round and submit the same to the email id.
    • Participants will be given 3 minutes to present their comedy as well for the Round 2.
    • There will be 2 rounds depending on the number of registrations. Round 1: Prelims: where the student will send their video on or before 15th February,2021 and depending on those who qualified for the same will go for the Round 2 (Main Round).

    • Students’ camera shall remain ‘ON’ throughout their presentation.
    • The time frame to present their video needs to be followed strictly.
    • The material has to be original, if found to be copied from another comic the participant will be disqualified from the event.
    • The content shouldn’t be disrespectful to any religion, caste, race or political party and should not contain any adult jokes
    • Usage of abusive language is strictly prohibited.
    • The act can be in Hindi or English language.
