  • The management fest will last for 2 days.
  • Activities on both days will be in offline mode.
  • There will be no registration fee for external participants.
  • Gaming stalls and goodies/handmade products Stalls will be put up during the festival.

Event Objective

  • To provide a platform for participants across India to compete with each other and test their knowledge and understanding of management areas and concepts.
  • To help participants develop critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills by participating in activities from domains of HR, Marketing, Finance and General Management.

HR Innovators Poster Battle

Name of the event:  HR Innovators Poster Battle

Participation: Group (Team of 2-3 students)

Duration: 2 Hours

Venue: Lecture Theatre

Plan Layout: The HR Poster Competition is designed for students to creatively showcase their knowledge of Human Resources (HR) problems, propose solutions, and effectively communicate these through a visually engaging poster on Canva. This competition aims to promote critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills in students, all while addressing pressing HR challenges in a corporate or organizational setting.

Description: HR Problem Categories

  • Participants will select from the following HR problems to focus on in their poster:
  • Remote Work & Employee Engagement
  • Diversity and Inclusion
  • Employee Burnout and Well-being
  • Talent Acquisition in Competitive Markets
  • Leadership Development and Succession Planning
  • Employee Retention Strategies
  • Managing Workplace Conflicts

Following are the content requirements:

  • Title: Clearly state the HR problem being addressed.
  • Problem Identification: Brief description of the HR issue.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Use visuals like a fishbone diagram or cause-and-effect chart.
  • Proposed Solutions: Present 2-3 solutions with icons or images to enhance the message.
  • Expected Impact: Show the outcomes of implementing the solutions (e.g., reduced turnover, increased employee satisfaction).
  • Design Specifications:
    • Professional fonts, clean layout, and simple design on Canva.
    • Use relevant icons, images, and infographics to illustrate key points.
    • Ensure clarity and readability (no clutter).

ICONic Tambola: The Logo Hunt

Name of Event: ICONic Tambola: The Logo Hunt

Participation: Individual

Venue: Lecture Theatre

Duration: 2 hours

Description:

“Iconic Tambola: The Logo Hunt” is an exciting twist to the traditional Tambola game, designed to challenge participants’ brand recognition skills in a fun and interactive way. Instead of numbers, the game features logos on tickets and hints about the logos—such as taglines, case study, song, brand ambassadors, or famous quotes—will be announced/displayed on screen. Participants must identify the brand and mark the corresponding logo on their tickets. The game tests participants’ observations, memory, and knowledge of iconic brands.

Gameplay:

  • Announce hints for the logos one by one.
  • Participants identify the brand and mark it on their tickets if they have the logo.
  • Winning patterns include:
    • Early Five: The first five logos are marked.
    • Top Row: All logos in the top row are marked.
    • Middle Row: All logos in the middle row are marked.
    • Bottom Row: All logos in the bottom row are marked.
    • Full House (1st, 2nd & 3rd): All logos on the ticket are marked.
  • Cross-check answers with the master list to ensure accuracy.

Finvest-Investment Strategy Challenge

Name of Event: Finvest-Investment Strategy Challenge

Participation: Team (Team size:2)

Duration: 2 hour

Venue: Computer Center/ Lab 1 & 2-RDIAS

Description: The Investment Strategy Challenge invites participants to analyze the financial data of five-six companies and decide how to allocate a fixed budget to achieve the highest possible return. Participants will be provided with key financial metrics and they need to make well-informed investment decisions. Their task is to choose where to invest within a predefined budget, considering factors such as growth potential, profitability, risk, and diversification. The challenge encourages critical thinking, financial analysis, and real-world investment strategies

Rules

●        Participants will receive the financial data of the five-six companies via email on the date of the event. This may include income statements, key ratios, stock performance, and any relevant news or future projections.

    • Participants will review the provided financial data for each company.
    • They will assess key factors like growth prospects, profitability, debt levels, market performance, and other ratios to determine where to invest.
    • The main task is to allocate the given budget across these companies.
    • They can invest in one or more companies, but the total investment must equal the given budget.
    • They will need to make decisions on risk management and diversification (if applicable).
    • Participants will now finalize investment decisions and prepare a short report to explain their investment choices. The report should include: A breakdown of how the given budget was allocated across the companies, key ratios, a clear rationale for selecting each company and the expected returns, risk management strategy
    • Now Participants will describe their investment strategy report before the judges in form of PPT

Word Wars: Marketing Edition

Name of event: Word Wars: Marketing Edition

Participation: Team (Team of 2)

Description:  The competition will be divided into 2 rounds.

– In Round 1, Members of each team will be given a brand name. He/She has to make the other member guess the word by saying words/sentences related to the given word. The time limit will be 30 seconds per team.

– Saying the exact given word will be a taboo.

– In Round 2, both the members will have to work as a team. A team will be given one word each. The team has to instruct Alexa in such a way that its answers consist of that word. Each team will be given 2 chances to instruct Alexa.

FinWord Challenge

Name of Event: FinWord Challenge

Participation: Team (Team size:2)

Duration: 1.5 hour

Venue: Ground Floor Hall, RDIAS

Plan Layout:

Description: FinWord Challenge is a fun, interactive game that adds a financial twist to the classic Pictionary. The activity will be played in two rounds: Round 1, “Finance Hunt – Guess the Words,” and Round 2, “Finance Pictionary.” In Round 1, participants will receive finance-related picture cards that represent different words, like “balance sheet” or “stock market.” They will need to look at the images and guess the word as quickly as possible. In Round 2, players will take turns drawing finance-related terms on a whiteboard or digital tool, while their teammates try to guess the word based on the drawing, all within a set time limit. The goal is to guess the correct words fast to earn points.  The winners will be determined based on the average points earned across both rounds. This fun activity helps participants learn finance terms while working together and thinking quickly.

Game Rules:  Round 1 – Finance Hunt – Guess the Words: Each team will receive a set of finance-related image or picture cards. Teams will be given minutes to guess the words. Points will be awarded for each correct guess.

Round 2 – Finance Pictionary: 

  • Each team will take turns drawing finance-related terms (e.g., “inflation,” “capital gain”) on a whiteboard or digital drawing tool.
  • A timer will be set for 60 seconds per drawing.
  • The team members will attempt to guess the term based on the drawing.
  • Points will be awarded for each correct guess.
  • In this round only drawings will be allowed—no letters, numbers, or verbal clues. Each team has 5 turns to draw, with one turn per player. If the team correctly guesses the drawn word within the time limit, they earn 1 point; if not, no points will be awarded.

Vishleshan: Case Study Competition

Name of event:  Vishleshan (HR Case Study Competition)

Participation: Group (Team of 2-3 students)

Duration: 2 Hours

Venue: Lecture Theatre

Plan Layout:

Description: A case study will be shared with registered participants 2 days prior from the event and shall be seeking a solution of the same in a PowerPoint presentation form. After the submissions the review committee will review the submissions and will finalize top 10 teams which will be moved forward to the final round (also depends upon the number of submissions).

Final Round: All the participants will be required to present their solutions in the form of a PPT on the day of the event followed by a Question & Answer round. There will be a panel of judges who will review the PPT and ask the desired questions. 

Execution:

It is a team-based event. Only 2 members per team are allowed.

Team has to present the case.

The participants will bring their own Laptop or pen drive

Marketing Crisis Command: The PR Battle

Name of event:  Marketing Crisis Command: The PR Battle

Participation: Group (Team of  2-3 students)

Description

4-5 fictional PR crises relevant to various industries (e.g., product recall, influencer scandal, data breach, unethical marketing) will be presented to different teams. Teams will develop their Plan of Action (POA), covering:

  • Immediate action plan (communication strategy, media response).
  • Crisis control measures (social media management, press interactions).
  • Recovery strategies (customer retention, reputation rebuilding).

The teams will be required to prepare a 5-minute presentation.
