Objectives
The programme has been designed to achieve the following objectives:
• To provide case writing knowledge to keen learners comprising scholars, academicians and practitioners
• To understand details about steps and issues related with case writing and its application.
Who can participate?
Research Scholars, Professionals from Industry and Academicians from Technical & Management Institutions are eligible to participate.
Pedagogy
A mix of pedagogical tools will be used i.e. lectures, discussions, presentations and experiential exercises. Hands on experience will be given on suitable software. Participants will be provided with the suitable research example data sets for the purpose of analysis in order to understand case writing.
Participation Fee
There will be no participation fee.
Resource Person
Dr. Girish Taneja is working as Associate Professor in Marketing Management at Department of Commerce, Business & Management, DAVUniversity. He has worked as Professor, Deputy Dean and HOD (Marketing) at Lovely Professional University.His case-study “Next Branding Fiasco” has been adjudged “Best Case study in Marketing Track” at Anniversary Conference by The Case Centre, UK held at IIM Banglore. He has been awarded “Best Research Paper Presentation” award by All India Management Association. He is recipient of research grant from UK-India Education Research Initiative (UKIERI) for accomplishing a research project at Northampton Business School, University of Northampton, U.K. He has been invited as resource person on the workshops on research methodology, data analysis and case based teaching by various reputed business schools across northern India.
