Knowledge of Intellectual Property rights is one of the prerequisite for the business. Organizations are searching for the candidates who have the basic knowledge about innovation and IPR. The course on Intellectual Property Rights for beginners will equip learners with the basic knowledge about the subject with the help of case based teaching. The course will also give hands on practice to the learners about the filing procedures of patent & other forms of IPR.
After completing the course students will have knowledge of IPR. Understanding of IPR will enhance their understanding towards various forms of IPR; this will help them to protect their intellectual outcome. Also, they will be equipped to take necessary action against infringer.
Online MCQ test will be conducted at the end of each chapter (weekly assessment) with the help of Google forms. A summative assessment will be conducted on the fortnightly basis. At the end of the course a subjective test will be conducted. Upon qualifying the test with the minimum of 60 % marks & 70 % Attendance, students will be awarded with the certificates along with marks sheet.

Dr. Sunil Kumar Yadav has obtained his PhD degree from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra in the field of Intellectual Property Rights. He is a seasoned academician with over 18 years of experience in Academics, Research and Industry. He has conducted and attended various workshops and International conferences in the domain of Intellectual Property Rights and published a number of Research Papers in the journals of national and international repute. He is acting as a Co-Investigator of a Research Project on IPR and entrepreneurship funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). Presently, he is working as an Associate Professor in the department of management studies at Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies, Delhi. Besides his teaching responsibilities he is also looking after the institutions innovation cell of RDIAS.
Fees: A refundable fees of INR 500/- can be charged from the participants. Students of RDIAS can be given an opportunity to get their fees refund if they fulfil 75% attendance criteria and Pass with 60% Marks.
